Today's Weather: Autumnal

And just like that, Summer is over. It feels more like May (or late September) out there today. Clouds roil overhead and temps are in the mid 60s. They won't budge much higher, topping out around 71, and there's even a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly before 1 pm. Not exactly the kind of weather we were thinking of for late August. A slight chance of rain continues into tonight when lows will dip into the mid 50s. Also, it was 50 years ago today that Hawaii became the 50th state admitted to the United States as President Eisenhower signed a proclamation making it so. We're sure President Obama would celebrate such an anniversary, if only he were really born there...
