The Price Is Right For WWE: Monday Night Raw

By Staff in Arts & Entertainment on Sep 3, 2009 8:40PM

2009_09_03_WWE.jpg This Monday WWE will roll into town to film their weekly live television event “Monday Night Raw” at Allstate Arena in Rosemont. Who’s hosting this three-ring circus, you ask? Well, none other than Bob Barker, of course. The price was clearly right, in this instance. And, if past special guests are any indication, the former “Price is Right” host, now 85, will likely take part in the ongoing antics throughout the broadcast (just a month ago “Entourage” star Jeremy Piven pranced the ring and was even used as a prop). Considering the right hook he had going in the Gilmore bout, we think we'll put money on The Bark. Sure, that was over a decade ago, but since when did Mr. Barker age?

WWE looks to continue this trend, as there have been talks with LeBron James, Jimmy Fallon, and even the Reverend Al Sharpton on hosting. We slowly feel the creeping urge to create a new series recording on the office DVR. Priority numero uno, thank you very much.

If you have this Monday to spare, dig Bob Barker—or—like wrestling, tickets are still available at pretty decent prices. Get them while they’re lukewarm!
