Today's Weather: Upbeat

By Marcus Gilmer in Miscellaneous on Sep 30, 2009 1:00PM

After several days of slate-gray skies, we finally see some blue! The overcast clouds are breaking and we'll have some sun as well as temperatures that will climb a few degrees. Highs should top out in the lower 60s. Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear and lows will reach the mid-to-low 40s. A look ahead shows rain - possibly heavy - tomorrow night into Friday so if you plan on heading down to Daley Plaza for the big Olympics announcement, pack your rain gear. And with the world waiting on this Friday's announcement, perhaps it's appropriate that today is International Translation Day. So go hug a translator!
