What do you Buy for a Hard-Drinkin' Friend who Loves Candy?

Lolliphile.jpg Booze-flavored lollipops, of course! Lollyphile, an online independent candy boutique, offers amazing hand-made suckers in some amazing flavors. Feeling like The Dude? Try a White Russian. Wanna explore your tough side while eating candy? Try the dark, smoky/sweet Bourbon lolly.

A while back, we were shipped a sample of Lollyphile's amazing gourmet lollipops, and, to be honest... we ate most of them so fast it was difficult to form an refined opinion, aside from "nom nom nom." We saved the best of them all for last night: the Absinthe Lolly. For those times when you're feeling like a French artist, but you don't want to get smashed out of your mind - this sucker is exactly like the real thing, but without the kick. Says the FAQ: "Our absinthe lollipops will get you as wasted as will beer-battered chicken, bourbon-infused BBQ sauce, or lasagna alla vodka- which is to say, no: they do not contain alcohol."

Lollyphile has a few non-boozy flavors too. For the bacon-lovers, the maple bacon lollipop is quite addicting, with hunks of real, organic bacon and pure Vermont maple syrup. Wasabi-Ginger smoked out our sinuses - during this nasty flu season, a 12-pack might be just the thing to get you through your illness. Lollyphile pops will set you back $10 for 4 or $24 for 12, and they'd make great gifts. Or, you can hog them all for yourself like we did.
