Will It Be An Af-Rose?

So far this young season, Bulls budding superstar Derrick Rose hasn't played up to the level many expect. His play has been more tentative, he's committing more turnovers and his shooting percentage has dropped. While's he is still recovering from an ankle injury that caused him to miss most of the preseason, and the loss of Ben Gordon allows opposing teams to tighten up their defense, Rose is perhaps his harshest critic when it comes to his play. And he's vowed to do something about it.

Rose said on Wednesday that he's going to grow his hair until his play improves. "I'm not touching my hair until I get back on track. I'm just trying to change something; there has to be something that I'm doing wrong.'' Perhaps the young point guard is inspired by the story of Samson, who lost his strength when his hair was cut? Whatever the reason, we can only hope Rose gets his mojo back before his hair starts reminding us of former Bulls All-Star Artis Gilmore. Plus, it's not like the Bulls' opponents feared the 'fro when Ben Wallace sported one during his time in Chicago.
