If we were given the task of assembling a year end list of albums we're most looking forward to in 2010 from Chicago musicians, Lasers, Lupe Fiasco's three years in the making followup to 2007's The Cool would top the list. Rumored to be Lupe's grand exit and final album, the emcee and label head has released the first of what will be two album teaser mixtapes.

Released on Thanksgiving, with it's followup slated for Christmas day delivery, Enemy Of The State: A Love Story is a short tour of raw freestyle rhymes laid over an aggressive mix of rock and electronic-laced beats (tracklist here). Enemy Of the State is definitely worth a listen, a forecast of things to come and a reminder that whether or not he continues his emcee career post-Lasers, Lupe Fiasco will remain one of the most talented voices in the history of Chicago hip-hop.
