'Hawks Win Another OT Thriller
We've lost count of the number of overtime games the 'Hawks have already played this year but at least this one came out another winner as Dustin Byfuglien scored in overtime to give the 'Hawks a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers. The Rangers got on the board first halfway through the first period and the score remained 1-0 until Jonathan Toews netted a power play goal late in the third to tie the game up and force overtime. The 'Hawks got off an impressive 41 shots on goal, even more astonishing given New York only had 18; Huet had 17 saves in the winning effort. The 'Hawks travel to Buffalo for tomorrow night's game (6:30 p.m., CSN).

Bulls Blown Out Again
Okay, this is ridiculous. Getting blown out by the Raptors...well, it's not great, but it happens. Losing at home to the worst team in the league (the Nets) is pretty damn bad, though. And now, a third loss in a row and another blow-out? It's time for something to change. The Bulls got hammered by the Atlanta Hawks last night 118-83. And it appears as if Coach Vinny isn't going anywhere. Derrick Rose had 19 points and John Salmons had 16. And now we look for a new nickname as the Bulls' season of futility continues. The Unbear-a-Bulls? Next up is a visit from the Golden State Warriors on Friday (7 p.m., CSN+).

Notre Dame cruised to a 93-70 victory over IUPUI. Ben Hansbrough scored 22 and Luke Harangody scored 16 and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Irish, who move to 9-1 on the season.
