The DePaul Blue Demons were on the losing side of a 76-45 walloping at the hands of Mississippi State in their leg of the SEC/Big East Invitational. The Blue Demons found themselves in a giant 20-point halftime hole, one that only grew bigger in the second half. Eric Wallace led DePaul with 15 points in the losing effort. Overall, the SEC and Big East split their invitational with two wins each.
