Bulls Pull Out Win
Finally, the Bulls have another win. It doesn't matter that it was against the trainwreck known as the Golden State Warriors or that it took overtime, a win's a win. The Bulls got their 96-91 OT victory last night behind 21 points from Luol Deng and double-doubles from Joakim Noah (18 pts, 14 rbs) and Brad Miller (12 pts, 13 rbs). The Bulls found themselves behind by 7 at halftime but used a 23-5 run to start the second half and sprint past the Warriors for a lead. A healthy lead they would relinquish, sure. The Bulls spent most of the overtime period ahead and neither team did much scoring as the Bulls finally earned a win, snapping a four game losing streak. The second game of a six-game homestand is tonight as the Celtics roll into town (7 p.m., CSN).

'Hawks Fall To Sabres
The 'Hawks have had a much better December than their United Center counterparts but last night was an exception as they fell on the road 2-1 to Buffalo. After a scoreless first, the Sabres struck twice in the second to take a 2-0 lead. Patrick Sharp put the 'Hawks on the board in the opening seconds of the third period, but the team didn't score again. Huet had 31 saves in goal and the 'Hawks manage to get off 40 shots. For now, the 'Hawks remain atop the division, 3 points ahead of Nashville; next up are the Lightning who skate into town Sunday night (6 p.m., WGN).
