A Very Blago Christmas Greeting

Many Christmas Cards are impersonal, preprinted, and generally un-cheery, so we really enjoyed opening up one of our envelopes and seeing this card, created by local artist Kristin Freeman. If you want a textbook example of how to take the worst political cockup in state history and instead fill it with holiday cheer, here it is. It's probably too late for this year, and who the hell knows if Blago-related humor will even be relevant 12 months hence (consider the fact that we'll probably have a tremendous amount of new material from the trial in June) but if you've got to pass around some last-minute cards just print 'em out and enjoy.
After all, they're Blago approved (see photos #3 and #4).
Also: Consider this a friendly holiday reminder to check out the Indie Arts Fair this Saturday - you'll remember we posted about it here and the S-T has more on the fair at Schubas in today's issue as well.
