Morning Box Score: Bulls Rally Past Knicks

It looked like more of the same as the Bulls fell behind the New York Knicks by 17 points early in last night's game, but poor shooting from the Knicks helped the Bulls rally past them for a 98-89 win last night. The Knicks heaved 47 three pointers in the game but managed to only hit 16 (for 34 percent); not helping matters was shooting only 33 percent from the floor overall. Meanwhile, Luol Deng scored 24 points and had 13 rebounds to lead the Bulls; John Salmons added 20 and Derrick Rose scored 18. The Bulls found themselves down by three entering the fourth but hit a 10-0 run mid-way through the quarter to sprint past the Knicks. The Bulls hope to build momentum this Saturday when the Atlanta Hawks pay a visit (7 p.m., WGN).
