Today's Weather: Treacherous

While the Winter Storm Watch that was to go in to effect has been canceled, don't take that as a sign the weather will be easy and clear. On the contrary, it'll still be a mess out there later for those traveling. Just not as bad a mess as was previously expected. No accumulation is expected but a mix of rain, sleet, and freezing rain is going to make the roadways treacherous with an emphasis on potential flooding as rain and melting snow mix together. Highs will be in the mid-to-upper 30s. And the rain will continue off-and-on through tomorrow.
