DePaul Drops Big East Opener
The Blue Demons got their conference play off to a rough start, falling to Pitt 65-52. Mac Koshwal and Will Walker each had 11 points to lead DePaul (7-6, 0-1) and Mario Stula had 10 off the bench.

For the first time in over 40 years, the Northwestern mens basketball team finds themselves in the top 25. The 10-1 Wildcats come in at No. 25 in this week's AP Top 25 poll, their first AP top 25 ranking since January 1969. Of course, nothing is easy and the Wildcats will have to work hard to keep that ranking as they open up the conference play portion of their schedule against in-state rival Illinois tomorrow night.
