Today's Weather: Polar

Sure, it seems okay now but as the day goes on, temperatures across the area will plummet. While we're starting the day with scatters snow showers and temps around 30, we'll finish the day (and 2009) with temps hovering around 10 and wind chills below zero. But, hey, the skies will be clearing so we've got that going for us. Skilling is saying it could be as cold as sub-zero lows this weekends but the National Weather Service claims it won't be quite that bad. Either way, it's going to be cold this weekend so get have the extra layers at the ready before you head out to any festivities tonight.
