Blackhawks Burn Devils
The Blackhawks kept rolling into the New Year burning the New Jersey Devils 5-1, the 'Hawks eighth win in their last 10 games. Five different Blackhawks scored: Troy Brouwer on a power play in the first followed by Ben Eager; Andrew Ladd in the second; and Jonathan Toews and John Madden in the third. With a little over a minute and a half left to secure another shutout, Cristobal Huet let one slip by him, the only New Jersey goal of the night, he had 26 saves on the night. The 'Hawks try to keep rolling as 2010 starts in St. Louis tomorrow night (7 p.m., CSN).
