312 Chicago's Corazzina Wants You to Come On In His Kitchen

2009_04_corazzina.jpg Now that Luca Corazzina has settled into the kitchen at 312 Chicago, the native of Padova, Italy has decided to teach some lucky people the recipes ad secrets his mother taught him.

"Scuola 312" is an ongoing cooking class series where Corazzina will guide 10 guests through a hands-on journey of the preparation, butchering and saucing of popular Italian dishes. Corazzina will also share tips on how to make traditional Italian fare even more healthful while maintaining the cuisine’s robust flavors. The first Scuola 312 course, on making home made pastas, is slated for January 30. That will be followed by courses on Italian fish dishes (February 27) and mastering meat (March 20). the cost of each course is $45 per person and guests will also leave with a complimentary 250 ml bottle of 312 Chicago's proprietary olive oil, an Extra Virgin olive oil pressed and bottled exclusively for the restaurant. to RSVp for any of the courses, call (312) 696-2420.
