Tuesday Afternoon Diversion: Star Wars Disco

Many years ago, at a random thrift store in New Orleans, I picked up this record for $1. Then one day recently in the Chicagoist office break room, Tankboy and I were discussing odds and ends - Back to the Future, Hello Kitty, the usual stuff - when this record randomly came up. Tankboy was stunned to hear I own it and has been trying to figure out how to steal it ever since. The below video [via] might explain why. Or it may explain why we're crazy, I don't know. Either way, it's a surreal four minutes and if you like the music, there's plenty more where that came from.
