'Hawks Shut Out Columbus
The Blackhawks got a big win before hitting the road for another long trip away from the United Center - thanks, Disney - with a 3-0 victory over Columbus. The 'Hawks got a goal in each of the three periods: Brian Campbell early in the first, Dustin Byfuglien late in the second, and Duncan Keith in the third. A fantastic performance in net from Cristobal Huet - 24 saves to earn the shut out - helped out as well. The 'Hawks now have a grueling stretch of eight games in sixteen days, all on the road. It all starts tomorrow afternoon in Columbus (1 p.m., CSN).

Bulls Bounce Celtics
The Jekyll/Hyde Bulls are on another good run. Following the trouncing of the Pistons, they marched into Boston last night and upset the Celtics at home 96-83. Luol Deng led the way with 25 points, Joakim Noah had a double-double (15-11), and Derrick Rose added 17. The Bulls are slowly but surely clawing their way back to .500 (17-20) but after tonight's game against The Wiz (7 p.m., WCIU) they join the 'Hawks on the road for the next two-plus weeks.

Providence had little trouble dispatching DePaul last night 79-62, extending DePaul's regular season conference losing streak to 23 consecutive games. Mike Stovall led DePaul with 30 points.
