Rex Losing Out Off The Field, Too

Poor Rex Grossman. He quarterbacks the Bears to the Super Bowl only to be run out of town, watch his back-up Kyle Orton have modest success in Denver, and his heralded replacement ended up doing about the same as Rex (compare Rex's 2006 to Cutler's 2009).

Now the Trib reports he's taken a hit on a condo in the Trump Tower he's sold at a loss of over half a million dollars. Rex purchased the unit in September 2008 for $2.681 million but just unloaded it for around $2 million.

In case you were wondering, Rex attempted just nine passes this season for Houston.
