Today's Weather: Glacial

Not to sound like a broken record but holy crap it's cold. This is the kind of weather that leads to wooly mammoths being discovered in glaciers 10,000 years later. Highs will be well below normal again and we'll be lucky to crack the mid-teens in most areas. The sun is out for now, doing absolutely nothing to warm us but, hey, it's still good to see it (kind of like your college roommate). We could eventually see a few flurries form and overnight lows will once again sink into the single digits. But have faith, ye people of Chicago, as highs this weekend will top 20 degrees and by next week, another heat wave of highs in the mid 30s could be in order.
