11:00 - And we're calling it a night. As of right now with 97 percent of the vote in, the GOP contest is still tight as Bill Brady has a slim 2,400 vote lead over Kirk Dillard. On the Democrat side, Gov. Quinn is maintaining his 5,000 vote lead over Dan Hynes and looks like he'll squeak out the nomination.

10:25 - With 94 percent reporting, Quinn's lead over Hynes is a slim 5,000 votes.

10:20 - The $174 million plan for renovations to New Trier High School was voted down by a 63 to 37 percent margin.

10:08 - Dillard has taken back the slightest of margins with 92 percent of the precincts reporting.

10:00 - According to the latest numbers, both governor races are within 1 percentage point.

9:50 - ABC 7 reports Hoffman has conceded to Giannoulias.

9:40 - The GOP Governor race has just gotten wacky. With the latest update - 82 percent of precincts reporting - Brady has taken the slimmest of leads over Dillard and McKenna.

9:30 - The GOP race for Governor remains tight with McKenna at 20.1 percent while Dillard and Brady hold tough with 19.7 percent. Quinn's lead over Hynes is equally slim 50.7 percent to 49.3 percent.

9:15 - CBS 2 is reporting Mark Kirk as the winner in the race for the GOP U.S. Senate spot. Meanwhile, Giannoulias is holding on to a slim four percent lead over Hoffman.

9:05 - With 64 percent of the precincts in, the GOP gubernatorial race is tightening up as well.

9:00 - The Trib reports that Hynes has closed the gap on Quinn. Quinn leads 51.5 percent to 48.5 percent.

8:50 - With 84 percent of the precincts reporting, Preckwinkle has hit 50 percent of the vote and seems well on her way to securing the Dem nomination. ABC 7 has declared her the winner.

8:25 - Preckwinkle's lead has widened with 60 percent of votes in. She leads with 48 percent of the vote. Giannoulias is maintaining a slight four percent edge over Hoffman in the Dem race for Senate.

There's not much change in the race for Governor as Quinn still maintains a 53-47 edge over Hynes and McKenna holds a six percent edge over Dillard and Ryan; both races have 33 percent of state precincts reporting.

8:05 - CBS 2 reports 25 percent of precincts reporting and the Dem race for U.S. Senate is proving to be pretty close as Alexi Giannoulias has only a slight lead over David Hoffman, 37 percent to 32 percent. Meanwhile, Mark Kirk seems to be running away with the GOP nomination.

8:00 - With 27 percent reporting (via ABC 7), Roger Keats leads the GOP Cook Co. President race with 59 percent. For the Dems, Toni Preckwinkle (45 percent) leads Terrance O'Brien (22 percent), Dorothy Brown (15 percent), and Todd Stroger (15 percent).

7:55 - Gov. Quinn leads Dan Hynes 53 percent to 47 percent while Andy McKenna leads the GOP with 28 percent with 16 percent of precincts reporting from around the state.

7:45 - U.S. Senate results state-wide per the Associated Press with 16 percent of precincts reporting:
