When weather like this finally hits, something comes over us. Vital signs spike, moods grow chipper, and our outlook on life becomes that much better. We suggest everyone rides this high while they can, because with the impending bad weather this weekend, you have to appreciate this gem of a day. So take a walk, hit the park, maybe grab a drink or two on the patio with old friends. And just as temperatures begin to dip tonight, warm up with friends at Smart Bar and 5 Dollar Disco, this week's pick for Weekend Dance Party.

Disco/Nu-disco tends to be a recurring theme for us, but while it may dominate the current trend of club music, we aren't complaining. Butch Cassidy & John Twatters will lead the punch tonight, ushering in that distinct lush sound that has become a defining disco house trait. They will be accompanied by local DJ and rising star, Kid Color, along with Milwaukee natives, The Glamour. Each bring their own elements to the decks, but all of it grooves. We hope to see you there!

5 Dollar Disco, tonight, Smart Bar, 3730 N Clark St, $5 ($8 after midnight), 21+
