There is going to be a LOT of beautiful noise at Bottom Lounge tonight. When 4ADers Serena-Maneesh, gauze-poppers The Depreciation Guild and local shoegazers Apteka each take the stage we expect the rafters will be rumbling from all the feedback. Also, attendees may suddenly find themselves sucked through a vortex of nostalgia to find themselves trapped on the set of 120 Minutes. We mean that as a compliment.

All three are touring behind new or about to be released singles and / or albums, and they're all worth getting, but we want to give a special call out towards Apteka's forthcoming Traitors 7". They've allowed us to share the title track with you below and it's a fine example to give you a taste of their particular brand of shoegaze. The true gem is the b-side "Aragon Sound." First, that name is hilarious, and fitting given the massive walls of noise conjured within the song's six-plus minutes. The structure and feel of the song harkens back to Gish-era Smashing Pumpkins capturing all the grandeur of those exciting years.

Check out some samples from Serena-Maneesh and The Depreciation Guild while you're at it.We predict after you hear these tracks you'll be making your way to Bottom Lounge later this evening.
