2010_04_01_PlayforLifeSeasonOpener02.jpg The weather is getting warmer and we can't help thinking about parks, sunshine, fresh air and heading to the ball park. Play for Life will be getting into the spirit of ball park fare when it kicks off its Season Opener - Best of the Ball Park cooking contest and fundraiser next week Friday (April 9th). Play for Life is a nonprofit organization that reaches out to at-risk youth through sports to empower and engage young people.

Join Play for Life that evening and you'll be able to sample the creative ball park fare of four Chicago Chefs: Chef Sean Cunneen of Café Too, Chef Troy Graves of Eve, Chef Cary Taylor of The Southern and Chef Paul Virant of Vie. At the end of the evening, one chef's creations will be named The Best of the Ball Park. (Oh, and yours truly is fortunate enough to be one of the judges that evening!)
