Multi-Vehicle Accident Shuts Down Eisenhower Ramp

A multi-vehicle accident early Sunday morning caused an exit ramp at Austin Boulevard on the eastbound Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to be shut down, said State Police. As of 12:40 a.m., an Illinois State Police District Chicago trooper told the Chicago Sun-Times that it was a multi-vehicle crash and three vehicles were being towed away from the scene. The trooper also reported that there were injuries, but he believed none were life-threatening.
