Chicago art peeps are counting down the days to the big Artropolis expo at the end of the month. Besides the headline grabbing Paschke and Matisse exhibitions that opened a few weeks ago, some smaller spaces are also building momentum for the city with interesting exhibitions that will overlap with Artropolis.

Tonight, for example, the (definitely underrated) Polish Museum of America will open its poster exhibition Post No Bills: Contemporary Polish Posters. Considering the PMA already has an outstanding collection of Polish Art Deco posters (like this one), we're expecting big things.
Other shows worth seeing:
- British artist Sarah Pickering's fear-based photographs at the Museum of Contemporary Photography.
- The Tony Wight gallery's two new exhibitions, which will also overlap with the expo.
