Do This: Wine Meets Art -- Nationwide Art Challenge

By Carrie Becker in Arts & Entertainment on Apr 21, 2010 5:20PM

2010_04_21_ArtExhibition.png Some say making wine is like art, while others feel it’s more of a science. The Telluride Wine Festival and Center for Wine Origins wants to know how you express your love for the origins of wine with your art.

Artists are welcomed to enter the nationwide poster challenge and art exhibition by creating a poster encompassing an official wine region (Champagne or Port wines are given a kind eye). Use your skills in photography, graphic arts or your preferred artistic style to celebrate the grapes of your favored wine region.

The Art Exhibition will take place in Telluride, Colorado during the Telluride Wine Festival June 24 to 27th, 2010. Each of the selected 20 finalist’s posters will be displayed during the festival and sold at SCHILLING studio Gallery with cash awards given to the “Best in Show” and “People’s Choice”.

Enter here by May 15th to score your chance to win cash prizes and represent Chicago’s thriving art community.
