Bears Make Their First Pick

By Marcus Gilmer in News on Apr 24, 2010 5:00PM

It took 75 picks - a good chunk into the third round - of the NFL Draft, but the Bears finally got their first pick and actually went after a position they needed, drafting Florida safety Major Wright. A three-year starter for the Gators, Wright finished his career with 149 total tackles and 8 interceptions. The Bears will have four picks to make today: 109, 141, 181, and 218.
