Could King James' Night On The Town Mean A Bulls Win?

Is Chicago’s secret weapon its nightlife? Less than a week after Joakim Noah drew boos for complaining that Cleveland was boring, the contrast between that town and Chitown couldn’t be clearer with news of how LeBron spent his Friday night. Just a few days after James admitted his love for the Windy City, the Trib caught the Cav’s superstar out until 3 a.m. this morning enjoying Chicago’s nightlife. And he wasn’t alone. Before a game that the Sun-Times deems as a “Do or Die," for the Bulls, The King was joined by teammates Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison. While we doubt James is taking the game lightly, it does seem a bit…ahem…Cavalier.

The Bulls won Game 3 after jumping out to a blazing start in the first quarter. A bleary-eyed slow start from James and his fellow partiers could help the Bulls even up a series that many NBA experts predicted would be a sweep. No matter how today’s game and the series ends, LeBron’s nightlife exploits can only help as the superstar considers free agency this off-season. And if the Bulls squeak out a win today, or on the very off-chance that James succumbs to Chicago clubland’s siren call, we could be dubbing our town’s bars MVP for a long time.

In the meantime, after the jump, check out video of Noah's Cleveland outburst which may give clues on why LeBron loves Chicago's scene.
