Funny Or Die's AXE Twisted Humor Tour Hits Chicago Tonight

By Jake Guidry in Arts & Entertainment on Apr 27, 2010 4:40PM

2010_04_27_axetwistedhumor.jpg Funny Or Die's been an ever-expanding phenomenon as of late. What once started as a simple website for funny videos (founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay) has since blossomed into a network of other OrDie.coms, an HBO partnership, and now a nation-wide comedy tour sponsored by the creator of the most sexually-charged soap ever. The tour hits Chicago tonight at Park West and carries with itself an impressive lineup of up-and-comers.

Nick Kroll (The League and The Life and Times of Tim), Whitney Cummings (Chelsea Lately), Donald Glover (Community), and Chelsea Peretti (The Smoking Gun Presents) round out tonight's lineup, and each bring a little something different to the table. While we're sure all will be funny, we're keeping a special eye out for Nick Kroll and Donald Glover. Kroll has experienced a career-boost as of late, finding his way onto two new TV shows, including one of the bigger surprises of the last year, The League. Glover has experienced similar, if not more fame, starring in everything from a Comedy Central special, to NBC's Community, to his very own movie, Mystery Team. Both have proved to be very funny and special in their respective endeavors. All four have proved to be all kinds of hilarious.
