Live Like Hef? Condo In Old Playboy Mansion For Sale

By Anthony Todd in News on May 7, 2010 5:25PM

If you've ever dreamed of living like Hugh Hefner, your dream can now be (kinda) fulfilled - a condominium is for sale in the original Playboy mansion. Living the glamourous live vicariously through the pages of the magazine not enough for you? Hundreds of late-night hours playing Playboy: The Mansion on your Playstation 2 just not fulfilling anymore? Well, if you have a spare $3,000,000, you can live in Hef's old haunt.

Hef bought the mansion in 1959, after the early success of Playboy. It was originally built in 1899, and is actually quite beautiful. In fact, owning might be just about anyone's fantasy, looking at the real estate listing. 3 bedrooms, 2-car garage and a private patio, and access to the mansion's garden. Even without the babes, sign us up!

Hef moved full-time to the Playboy Mansion West in 1974, and the Chicago house has been redecorated many times since, and is now appointed in a luxurious, modern style. Sources disagree whether the original "Si Non Oscillas, Noli Tintinnar" (translation: If you don't swing, don't ring) plaque is still on the building, but we don't really care - you can put it up in your new condo.
