Lollapalooza's All Day Sucker Gets Even Bigger

Lolla-Profile.png Lollapalooza organizers are putting an additional 60,000 tickets on sale this year, allowing 95,000 people to take in the sites and sounds each day, up from 75,000 people a day in previous years. The fest's borders are also expanding westward across Columbus Drive to help make room for the extra influx of party people. [Sun-Times]

UPDATE: Festival organizers are disputing the Sun-Times' reporting, saying:

Hey guys, The Chicago Sun Times misreported important info about the new festival site at Grant Park. Contrary to what was reported 60,000 more people cannot attend. With this new space, we add 35 more acres (40% more space) & capacity will increase 10-15%. This expansion allows us to improve crowd flow, make Perry’s bigger & better, and make Chow Town even tastier.
So, using this statement to amend the previously stated Sun-Times figures, we reckon that means Lollapalooza will be selling an additional 7,500 to 11,250 tickets each day.
