Chicago Gourmet Gets A Title Sponsor

2010_05_CG_BA_logo.jpg Check out this year's Chicago Gourmet logo. There's a lot going on, what with the wine glass and fork illustration, the streamlined font for Chicago Gourmet. Oh, and the presence of a title sponsor.

A press release yesterday announced the signing of Bon Appétit magazine as title sponsor or the festival's third go-round, September 25-26 in Millennium Park. In addition to the promotion of the festival on Bon Appétit's media platforms (and, of course, the cash parent company Condé Nast ponied up for the honor), Bon Appétit Editor in Chief Barbara Fairchild, Restaurant Editor Andrew Knowlton and Cat Cora, Executive Chef of Bon Appétit's Culinary Studio, will be at the event.

Maybe we'll get to see an "Iron Chef" grudge match at the festival between Cora and avec's Koren Grieveson.
