The owners of the Chicago Cubs, the Ricketts family, recently invested in the rooftop seating space across Sheffield Avenue from Wrigley Field. Dennis Culloton, a spokesman for the family, told the Chicago Sun-Times that the investment will permit a rooftop business to reopen at 3621 N. Sheffield.

Although the building--which is owned by real estate investor James Petrozzini--is not currently selling rooftop space for Cubs games, Culloton told the Sun-times that "The investment shows that Cubs Chairman Tom Ricketts wants to cooperate with the rooftop owners and believes they are part of Wrigley Field's unique atmosphere." Ricketts also has other issues to deal with right now, like the city permit he has to obtain for the Toyota sign in the left-field bleachers.
