Do This: Custom House Guest Chef Dinner With Tory McPhail

2010_05_mcphail.jpg The National Restaurant Association's annual trade show runs through tomorrow at McCormick Place. Restaurants that typically are closed on Sundays and Mondays are open for both lunch and dinner, while food whores around town have had their cameras at the ready to grab shots with some of their favorite chefs in town for the show.

Custom House Tavern will host a special four course dinner prepared by chef Aaron Deal and special guest Tory McPhail of the legendary Commander's Palace in New Orleans this evening, starting with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. McPhail won last year's Great American Seafood Cookoff and it should be interesting how his dishes compare and contrast with Deal's. The cost of the dinner is $75, RSVP to 312-523-0200.

Custom House Tavern is located at 500 S. Dearborn.
