- A $20,000 reward has been offered for information on the cabbie who dragged grad student Daniel Firkins for a block and then ran over Firkins on May 14; Firkins died from the injuries on Saturday.
- A car fitting the description of missing Roosevelt University student Syed Naqi's car was pulled out of Belmont Harbor with a body inside, but authorities have not yet identified the body.
- The body of 8-year-old Cashmere Castillo, missing since he fell in the Chicago River while playing last Sunday, was found almost a mile downstream from where he fell in.
- The funeral for fallen Chicago Police officer Thomas Wortham IV will be this Friday.
- Mundelein Middle School teacher Nicole Jacobsen has been arrested for molesting an eighth grade student, a 14-year-old boy.
