Fire to Serve, Eat Fire at Piece Today

Fresh off successive (and meaningless) shutout defeats to Paris Saint-Germain (0-1) and Legia Warsaw (0-3) in the Sister Cities International Cup last week, Chicago Fire players are holding a fundraising event at Piece today from 5 p.m. -7p.m.

Fire players Peter Lowry, Baggio Husidic, Patrick Nyarko, Andrew Dykstra, and Calen Carr will be serving Fire a.k.a. Piece's Il Fuoco, which literally translates to "Fire pizza." Should be a good time, and because 10% of all Il Fuoco pizza and Worryin' Ale beer orders go to the Chicago Fire Foundation, it's for a good cause. Here's to them turning out lots and lots more pizza than they did offense last week.

The Fire's also giving away tickets to the upcoming game against Dallas via Twitter, and tickets are still available to the Fire v. AC Milan this Sunday.
