From the inbox: Sox fans can now chalk up another reason to root for the (inept) Men in Black. Smoque is partnering with Levy restaurants to bring their pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, BBQ beans and cole slaw to U.S. Cellular Field, starting June 1. They'll be serving it from a stand designed to resemble the restaurant's Old Irving Park location, down to the chalkboard menu.

Smoque owner/master of the Southern Pride "Frankencue" Barry Sorkin told the Trib's Kevin Pang that he and his staff will prepare the food at Smoque and then transport it down to the Cell, and doesn't anticipate a loss of quality. But there's one hitch in this giddy-up: Sorkin's 'cue will only be available in section 318. That's the LG Skyline Club level, accessible to skybox and club level ticket holders only. Which means folks in the nosebleed seats won't be able to sample Smoque's food at the Cell.

Now if only the some Anheuser-Busch distributed Goose Island could pass the gates of MillerCoors-branded U.S. Cellular Field (and the White Sox started winning), all would be right with the world.
