Memorial Day Weekend Forecast Looking Golden

By Marcus Gilmer in News on May 28, 2010 9:40PM

It's the unofficial start of summer and after this week's early preview, it's looking like this weekend is going to be picture-perfect for three-days of grilling, playing, and whatever outdoor shenanigans you could think to get in to.

Rest of Today: It's gonna be clear skies overhead as we head into night time with temps tailing off into the upper 60s. Overnight lows will fall into the upper-50s.

Saturday: Clear, gorgeous, and bright. Light lake breezes will soften temps as they hover around 80 for most of us inland but could be a tad cooler right along the lake. Pack plenty of sunscreen. The clear skies remain overhead overnight with lows in the lower 60s.

Sunday: Pretty similar to Saturday except a bit warmer as highs reach the mid-80s and humidities rise a bit. Temps fall into the upper 60s overnight and there's a slight chance of a scattered thunderstorm.

Monday: Memorial Day is forecasted to start off a little on the cloudy side with the possibility of more scattered storms. But as the day wears on, the sun should come out and highs will reach the upper 70s.
