Tigers Taken From Gary Tattoo Parlor

2010_05_28_tiger.jpg Well, here's something you don't read about everyday: federal agents removed four tigers from a Gary, Indiana tattoo parlor. The U.S. Department of Agriculture cited the tigers' health as the reason they were removed:

USDA spokesman Dave Sacks said the tigers were underweight and lethargic when inspectors visited earlier this week and that owner Roy Cooper had done nothing to correct the problems. An April 5 inspection had found one was too thin, with hip bones showing.

Tattoo parlor owner Roy Cooper denies the charge and claims the feds are trying to make an example out of him. The parlor, and its exotic pets, got the profile treatment from TOC back in 2008.
