Izard Puts Out Call For Goat Bric-Brac

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Jun 17, 2010 3:40PM

Stephanie Izard is getting ready to open her new restaurant, Girl and the Goat. It's been said so often that it should be put on an endless loop, we know. But she really is thisclose to finally opening.

Now Izard wants to decorate the open kitchen with goat-related tchotchkes provided by you, the people. But not just any goat-related tchotchkes. Izard is looking for "the wackiest, zaniest, coolest goat items you’ve got." Stuff that she - and the donors - feel would perfectly complement the fun atmosphere she's trying to convey with the restaurant. The chosen items will be placed for posterity on a shelf looking out onto the dining room, so it has to be of a size that everyone can see clearly.

Izard is taking submissions of prospective Goat paraphernalia on the Girl and the Goat facebook page through 9 p.m. Monday. She and her team will choose five lucky pieces for the restaurant.
