One of our favorite tracks from last year was Clubfeet's "Teenage Suicide" -- whose cheery chorus of "don't do it" is a cheeky nod to Big Fun -- and we still find ourselves dialing up the song every time we need to lift our mood. That tune whet the appetite of many a dance pop fan and this week's release of their debut full-length Gold On Gold is going to sate many of them. If we have any complaint about the disc it's that we wish it had been released earlier in the summer because it's bouncing beats are tailored for both the beach and the dance floor. The recipe stays pretty much the same all the way through as the group employs simple beats and shiny synths over sing-songy melodies, but the Australian trio adjust that formula adeptly throughout the album's twelve tracks.

Grab "Teenage Suicide" and the newer "Edge Of Extremes," give 'em a spin, and let us know what you think!
