Today's Weather: Roiling

The day starts out soggy and a little thundery because, hey, we really haven't seen much rain lately, right? In fact, some of the area is starting out the day under a flood advisory or even flood warnings. The rain will stick around for most of the morning, keeping the rush hour commute messy but should taper off and, as the day goes on, we'll see more sun thrown into the mix which will make things pretty warm and muggy again. Highs should top out in the upper 80s because, well, that's August and what's summer without feeling like you could cut the air with a knife? There's still a chance of a downpour throughout the afternoon and evening. Lows will be in the mid-70s overnight, making for perfect weather if watching the Cubs game is your thing and more preferable than, say, setting yourself on fire.
