Today's Weather: Benevolent

It's Lollapalooza Eve and while things are heating up in the southeast quadrant of the country, the weather is actually getting more pleasant here. The rain we've seen off and on throughout the last few weeks is taking a break and humidities will ease a bit over the next few days, a sign of benevolence heading into a weekend spent mainly outdoors. There's still the slightest chance of a passing thundershower but highs will reach the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies, a pattern that will hold for at least the first half of the weekend. We know: a Lollapalooza weekend with comfortable weather? Someone is having mercy on us. Perhaps it's karma or perhaps it's luck, we don't know. We're just happy to have it.
