Former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers has a new gig now: CEO of Johnson Publishing Company which puts out well-known magazines Ebony and Jet. Rogers resigned from her position in the Obama White House after taking a lot of heat for last fall's gate-crasher incident at a White House state dinner. In a statement, Rogers said, “I am humbled to have such an incredible opportunity. I consider it an honor to help continue the 68-year legacy of such a phenomenal company and its iconic brands." Both magazines have seen drops in circulation over the last few years which Rogers aims to reverse.
