Today's Weather: Broiling

It'll be a broiler out there today. Heck, it's almost 80 degrees already and the sun is barely up. Highs will again reach near 90 degrees with high humidities levels and little wind to cool us off, meaning a heat index in the upper 90s to near 100. Ah, August! There could be some breaks from the heat thanks to slow-moving storms that could rumble through and dump even more rain on us. The storms will eventually scatter heading into overnight when lows fall to the mid-70s.
