Are you one of the millions who have picked up the Millennium Trilogy? If you did so recently, you may have missed the incredible film version of book one: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

You're in luck. ShowPlace ICON Theatre in the South Loop is bringing back the film for a seven-day engagement. While Hollywood may be abuzz about its own pick of Rooney Mara for title character Lisbeth Salander, we're fans of Noomi Rapace and this is your chance to see the original that has became Sweden's highest grossing film. Be sure to check out Rob's preview of the film.

The film will be showing from Friday, August 20 through Thursday, August 26. Cost is $12.50 - $17.50 per person, depending upon your seating: either premium reserved or ICON reserved, all of which you can select on the website by purchasing ahead of time. Little bonus? Parking is free. We're hoping that the theatre will re-run the second movie, as well. Note: Take along your ID because if you go to a 21+ showing, you won't get in with out. Fair trade since you can sip wine while you watch.

ShowPlace ICON is located at 150 W. Roosevelt Rd.
