Today's Weather: Sultry

Yep, today's weather will saunter right up to you, whisper something naughty in your ear in a deep husky voice, and leave you sweaty. Oh, my, Friday, you sure know how to make us loosen our ties and fan ourselves from the heat. Yes, Chicago, when you step outside that hot, heavy air is gonna stop you dead in your tracks. But you're used to that by now, right? After all, this is the 9th warmest summer in the nearly 140 years that records have been kept. Highs will top 90 and high humidity will make the air thick and heavy. And get used to it. Besides a brief reprieve on Sunday, it looks like the unseasonable heat for the next week or so. Oh, Chicago in August, you know how to make us swoon.
