Eleven people were injured--two critically--during a three-vehicle rollover crash on Saturday afternoon near the western suburb Lisle on I-88. The accident occurred around 3:53 p.m. near mile-marker 130, according to an Illinois State Police Tollway District trooper via the Chicago Sun-Times.

According to early police reports, a black Pontiac lost control and hit a red Chevrolet pickup truck, causing the pickup to go from the far left lane across three lane of traffic to end up in the far right lane. The pickup then hit a white Toyota minivan and the minivan rolled over and landed on its roof.

Eleven people were taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Two had broken bones and were listed in critical condition, although their injuries were not considered life-threatening, the trooper said. Traffic began moving again on I-88 around 5:30 p.m. after being backed up due to the accident and investigation.
