Kill Hannah Vs. Spider Man?

O.K., we already think it's a bad idea to adapt Spider-Man as a Broadway musical, even if U2's Bono and Edge are providing the music and lyrics. But now we hear that Kill Hannah's Mat Devine has been cast in a supporting role.

Devine originally auditioned for the role of Peter Parker, obviously after seeing badass goth-y Venom Pete in Spider-Man 3 and mistakenly thinking the entirety of the character was influenced by mall-emo. We suppose this is why we were recently told the next Kill Hannah show won't be for a long time.

Anyway, chalk this up as another piece of ballast helping to further sink what was already a terrible idea.
